Synopsis: The discovery of a cannibalized human body in New Jersey State Park sends Mulder and Scully to Atlantic City. Despite obvious police cover-ups, Mulder continues his investigation of what may be a missing link in human evolution. Meanwhile, Scully attends her god-son's birthday party, which leads to some reflection on her future social plans.
Review: I can't make up my mind if I like this one or not, though if asked i'd probably say no. It's well enough shot, acted etc, but the actual plotline sucks. I mean, 'Mulder and Scully investigate the case of a woman living wild in some forest in Atlantic city.' Yeah, right! Whatever. So overall, the plotline gets a far lower score than the actual acting etc.
Notes/Comments: How exactly did that woman practically disembowel Mulder? i mean, did you see long claws or anything?
Overall: 4/5 for acting, photography etc, 2/5 for the stupid plot. |
